Meeting with Johan Verbeke

Last Thursday, we had the privilege and honour of meeting Johan Verbeke at the Egmont Institute in Brussels.

Mr. Verbeke, former Ambassador for Belgium to the United-Kingdom and the United States of America and former Ambassador for Belgium to the United Nations Security Council, not only taught us the “savoir vivre” of a diplomat, but also some critical tricks when it comes to negotiating at the UN-level. Our meeting with Mr. Verbeke was a more than enriching experience that we will certainly cherish during the upcoming months while preparing for our MUNs.
